Have stale bread? Feed to the chooks - or make croutons in your dehydrator!
Ingredients:
bread (fresh or stale)
Prepare bread.
Dice bread, spread onto dehydrator trays and dry at 70'C (155'F) for 4-6 hours, or until crisp.
Store croutons in an airtight container.
Flavour Idea: sprinkle bread before drying with
- Flavoured salt i.e. garlic salt, onion salt;
- Herbs (fresh or dried);
- Parmesan cheese.
