Everyone loves either making or eating cookies at Christmas, and these jars of cookie mixes means you can bake two dozen homemade cookies in minutes! They also make great gifts!
YIELD: 1 X 1 LITRE JAR
Layer into the jar as follows:
1 1/3 cups plain flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup quick oats
3/4 cup chocolate chips
3/4 cup nuts
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
HOW TO MAKE COOKIES:
1. Open jar, pour into a bowl. Mix well.
2. Add: 1 egg, lightly beaten, 1/2 cup melted butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3. Mix well.
4. Roll into balls, flatten on a lined tray.
5. Bake at 180°C for around 10 minutes (or until cooked).
